William Tennent Comments
The William Tennent Girls Volleyball team dropped a tough one to CR South 3 games to 1. Chiara Ciccone (19 digs, 7 aces) and Sara Ingham (5 aces, 5 kills no errors, 4 blocks) had great matches for WT. We name captains before each match. They were our captains tonight and they really got us going. Our young team is definitely moving in the right direction. RIley Morgan (7 kills) and Grace Marsland (7 kills) led the way at the net while Mackenzie Clee had 12 digs for the Panthers. CR South does a lot of things really well and some of those rallies just kept going even after you thought the point was over.
Council Rock South Comments
Council Rock South defeated William Tennent 3-1 (25-16, 24-26, 25-21, 25-16)
South was led by Celina Varian and Ariana Ranieri with 8 kills each. Paige O’Connell with 6 kills and 15 assists and Ava Paulson with 2 kills, 12 digs and 14 assists. Bria DeSaro had 15 digs to lead the defense.
Coach Wright said, “Tennent always plays us tough. Coach Bassler does a great job preparing his team. We were fortunate to get out of there with a win.”
