Upper Merion defeated Cheltenham in 3 sets Wednesday night by scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-5. The victory raises the Lady Vikings record to 5-0 and 3-0 in the American Conference. Melanie led the offense with 13 kills while Emily Shannon added 8. Emily Shannon served 20 service points(7 aces) and had 15 digs. Ashley Shannon and Carlye Odorisio shared 14 assists. Niki Carpenter, Eryn Brady, Carolyn Helenski and Mimi Daniels dominated the net with 12 kills and 5 blocks. UM plays at P-W next Tuesday.
