PW did an incredible job in their defense making it very difficult for UD to side-out. They did a good job in keeping our side (UD) out of system as much as possible. I give my team a lot of credit in never giving up and always fighting in these tough 5 set matches. They really came together when needed and received important contributions from our middles.
The offense had contributions from Alison Gouveia and Sarah Dennin at 6 kills each. Gabbi Johnson had 8 kills, 2 aces and 24 digs. Jenny McAneney had a double double performance with 15 kills, 20 digs and 3 aces. Gianna Perri had 12 digs while Josie Barrett had 14 digs. Bryn Stek did a great job in a very busy match dishing out 39 assists while having 28 digs. She was also able to get 2 kills and 2 aces.
