Hatboro Horsham advanced to 8-0 on the season (6-0 conference) with a sweep win over North Penn tonight. North Penn is an extremely scrappy team that challenged us on all sides of the ball, but HH was able to keep control in all of the first three sets, with a solid come back from 9-2 in the second set. Katerina Yankanich had 9 kills on 22 attempts (.318 kill %) paired along with the team's second high of 13 digs, an assist and an ace. Holly Owen had 10 kills and added 6 digs and 5 blocks. Allison Laucella had 17 digs as Libero and 2 aces. Rachel Dittus had 23 assists setting for the Hatters. Maddie Kallmeyer and Megan Barella were impressive on the serving line adding 5 and 6 aces respectively. Hatboro-Horsham plays at Souderton on Tuesday 9/20 for it's next conference match.
