In a battle comprised of excellent volleyball on both sides of the net the Hawks finished the overtime nail biter with the win. Both teams played relentless defense in sets full of long rallies, neither team willing to let the ball drop.

Once again the Golden Hawks were led offensively by Outside hitter Olivia DeSaro who ended the night with 21 kills, 2 blocks and 25 digs with Setter Emelie Korn contributing 37 assists, 3 kills, 2 blocks, and 5 aces. Korn spread the ball around using a well rounded offense where Middle Kristina Shumakov added 6 kills and 1 block, Middle Toren Kotter added 8 kills, 3 blocks, Opposite Riley Witmer added 8 kills, Outside hitter Soleil Kauer added 3 kills, 29 digs and 1 assist

In addition to the fantastic defense of the outside hitters and setter, Libero Chloe Brossman dug up 20 and served 1 ace, Defensive specialist/Setter Mia Bacevich added 14 digs and 1 assist and Defensive specialist Niamh McGinley added 5 digs and 1 Ace.

A true team effort, positively supporting eachother through all of the ups and downs of the match!
