Council Rock North defeated CB South 3-1 (25-21, 13-25, 25-15, 25-20) in the first round of the PIAA District 1 playoff.

Council Rock North was led by Seniors Olivia Szymkiewicz with 22 kills and 3 aces, Sloane Jordan had 16 kills. Sophomore Kinley Adams led the offense with 35 assists and 5 kills.

CRN and CB South played a few weeks ago, and this match was entirely different. Both teams stepped up their games and played some very good defense and strong serving. In this match, points were won. I am proud of my team. In the 2nd set, C South went on a 12 point run and ran away with the set. We were able to bounce back and play a very strong 3rd set behind 2aces each by Kinley Adams and Ava Liedl combined with 8 kills by Olivia. In the 4th set, we had 5 aces and 6 kills apiece from Olivia and Sloane.
