Coach Wright said. “This was one of the best volleyball matches I have ever experienced. We were down 0-2 in their gym and things did not look good. In game 3 Bria DeSaro and Celina Varian just switched into another gear. The team came together and played the best volleyball of the year.”

South was lead to victory by Senior Libero Bria DeSaro who recorded a career high 45 digs. Celina Varian had 11 kills including her 300th career kill. Junior middles Lauren Dougherty and Katie Marsh ruled the net. Dougherty had 5 kills and 9 blocks, and Marsh had 2 kills and 4 blocks. Junior outside Ariana Ranieri had 5 kills, 5 aces and 10 digs.
