Very good match against a strong offensive and determined Abington squad who fought till the very end. Abington came out hungry in the first set and easily took it while Dublin regrouped and tied it on the second set. Dublin fought hard to take the third set while Abington never gave up forcing a final 5th. Abington put up a good fight fighting back into the game with Dublin leading but it was Dublin who prevailed in the end.
Dublin had contributions from Bryn Stek who served 7 aces while having a double double at 39 assists and 18 digs. Big contributions defensively from Josie Barret at 11 digs and Maggie Welgos at 12 digs. Offensively Dublin was led by Gabbi Johnson's double double at 12 kills and 25 digs and Jenny McAneney's double double at 14 kills and 12 digs. It was a very exciting match against an Abington Squad who is very dangerous in their offensive line.
