Central Bucks South Comments
Tonight the cb south boys volleyball team lost to Pennridge in straight sets (11-25, 9-25 and 19-25). I felt that we played much improved from our opening match however their jump serves gave us a lot of trouble. Our team leaders included:
Setter Mark Macios (11 assists, 2 blocks, 3 digs)
Middle Jack Mayhew (3 blocks, 2 kills , 6 digs )
outside hitter Justin Koren ( 5 kills, 4 digs, 3 aces )
We also had some of our first year sophomore players step up and contribute:
Middle Joe Karn (2 blocks, 1 kill, 1 dig)
Outside hitter Tim White (2 kills, 2 digs)
And also freshman libero Mike Devlin stepped in for an absent player and helped with 2 digs and some key passing.
Tonight was a complete team effort and i was proud of how this young team continued to compete.
