Central Bucks South Comments
Tonight the cb south boys volleyball team won our opening match against Bensalem in 3 sets (25-16, 25-20, 25-15). This was a complete team effort and I was proud of the way we remained aggressive on offense and stayed focused on finishing the match in 3 sets. Everyone contributed and played their role in this victory. Team leaders were setter Mark Macios ( 27 assists, 10 blocks ), middle hitter /outside hitter Justin Koren ( 8 aces, 10 kills, 6 blocks and 8 digs ), middle hitter Joe Karn ( 10 kills, 3 blocks ), and David Lulko defensively leading the team with 10 digs.
Bensalem Comments
Bensalem boys volleyball lost 3-0 (16-25, 20-25, 15-25) to CB South on Monday. The Owls attack was led by Joey Conley (7 kills) and Shekib Ghafary (6 kills). Ronak Shah (16 assists, 2 kills, 2 blocks) also had a strong game for Bensalem, who fell to 1-1 overall.
