East was led offensively by CJ Dalby with 7 kills, 5 digs, 2 blocks and 2 aces; Liam Ostrander with 2 digs, an ace, 2 kills and 17 assists, and Matt LaBouliere with 6 kills, 5 aces, a block, and 10 digs. Libero Aiden Leichter accounted for 8 digs and 2 aces, while AJ Helveston added 2 kills, and 3 digs. Josh Lyzinski and Trevor Seestedt contributed 2 kills each.
Central Bucks South Comments
Today CB South lost to CB East in 3 sets (20-25, 19-25 & 13-25). Senior setter Garrett MacClay starting in his first varsity game at setter recorded 8 assists, had an ace and 2 kills. Middle blocker Christopher Kline had 5 blocks and 2 kills. Our other senior middle Robert Coleman had 5 kills, a block and 6 digs. For a team with no returning starters in any position, I thought we played pretty well against a good team in East. We have some stuff to work on, and some stuff we learned today but I completely believe this group of boys can put it together as the season goes on.
