The Wissahickon girls swim team swam Springfield High school on Tuesday afternoon. The entire meet was very close, with Springfield keeping the lead until Maya Jog and Christina Tsiabikas did season bests in the backstroke to help us get ahead. Wissahickon won by only one point, with a final score of 85-84! We come in first place in 7 of 11 events. First place winners were: Amanda Zlotnikoff, Carly Zlotnikoff, Kelly Wild, Lili Xu, and Keara Monaghan. Amanda Zlotnikoff's District One consideration time in the 100 backstroke dropped to a 1:02.51. A special congratulations to Taylor Radell for earning a personal best time in the 500 by 4 seconds. Great job to all of the Wiss girls, and thank you to everyone who came out to support!
