Losing pitcher was Madison Parisi - 6 inns, 4 Ks, 5 hits, 1 BB, 2 runs (0 earned)

For Unionville, Madison Parisi was 3 for 4 with an RBI single and a double.
For UD, Kaitlyn Small was 3 for 3 with a 1 run scored, and Kaelin Penna was 1 for 3 with the go-ahead run scored.

Unionville scored in the top of the 3rd when Madeline Tomasco led off the inning with a double to left-center. She would advance to 3rd on a sacrifice bunt by Catherine Stone, and later scored on Parisi's 2-out, RBI single.

UD would answer with a run in the bottom of the 4th inning. Madden Reilly led-off the inning with a single to center field. She was replaced with courtesy runner Emeline Bell who advanced to 2nd base on a groundout, and then to 3rd on an infield single by Kaitlyn Small. Anna Levin would walk to load the bases. Unionville forced a ground-out to the pitcher for the 2nd out of the inning (preventing Bell from scoring), but Maddie Small would then hit an infield, fielder's choice that was misplayed at 2nd base, allowing Kaityln Small to score. The go-ahead run was added in the bottom of the 5th when Kaelin Penna led off the inning with a single to the outfield that was misplayed and reached the fence, and she would later score on an overthrow that went out of play on that same play.

Unionville threatened in the top of the 6th when 2 runners reached base on infield errors, but Kyla Garrison retired the next two batters with strikeouts, and then the 3rd out was recorded as a result of an obstruction call on a pop fly to shortstop. They would lead off the 7th inning with a double by Madison Parisi, but a line-drive out to Kaitlyn Zacharia, followed by a ground ball out to Garrison and finally a groundout to Penna at shortstop would end the threat and the game.

Upper Dublin will now host WC Rustin (#5 seed, 17-1 winner over #4 Mount St. Joseph's Academy) on Friday at 3:30 PM.
