The Lady Rams simply got outplayed by Lansdale Catholic this afternoon at Druckenmiller Park. The Rams only mustered 3 hits. In the third inning Pennridge took a lead as Emily Mayhew ripped a one out double to right center. She moved to third on a Brooke Labs ground ball to second. Then Haley Taylor singled to right to score Mayhew. But that is all the Lady Rams would get until the bottom of the seventh, trailing 9-1. so with tow outs and a 1-2 count, senior Captain Brooke Labs made a statement, ripping a ball over the centerfield fence to make the final score 9-2. Paige DeCew took the loss in 5-1/3 innings. Sophomore pitcher Liz Nace pitched the final 1-2/3 innings for Pennridge.
