The Lady Rams took no time at all getting back in the win column after Tuesday nights heartbreaking loss to Hatboro. The Rams put together 12 hits to total 9 runs in a game that was not as close as the 9-5 score may lead you to believe. The Lady Rams score 8 runs in the first three innings to lead 8-0. Alison Horne had 3 RBI as she went 2 for 3 at the plate with 2 doubles. In the second inning with two runners aboard, Brooke Labs(1 for 2, 4 RBI) ripped a 3 run home run over the left center field fence. Julia Helbling went 2 for 3 in her first start in the field for the Rams. Emily Mayhew got the victory going 5 and 1/3 innings in the circle.
Central Bucks West Comments
The Bucks would not go away into the night quietly this night. Trailing 8-0, B Cassel ripped a Mayhew changeup over the left field fence to get the Bucks on the scoreboard 8-2. The Bucks would add three runs in the 6th on 3 hits and a walk by relief pitcher Briana Gery. But Emily would reenter to pitch to end the threat.
