Does 5-4 sound familiar? Yes, just like last time, the rams dropped a 5-4 decision to CB south this afternoon in 7 innings. We trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the 6th when Emily Hofmann lead off with a double down the left field line. A ground out to 2nd moves Morgan Leatherman running for Hofmann, to third. Leatherman would then score on a slow roller to 2nd and the throw was late to the plate. Then Paige DeCew and Bridget Casey drew walks to load the bases. Then Alexis Detweiler worked a 5 pitch walk to plate another run. Then with two outs and bases loaded, Karlie McCreary sliced a single past the first baseman to plate two more runs. Then in the top of the 7th, Koehler brought Paige DeCew in to close the game out. Unfortuantely, Klepchick doubled to lead off the inning, followed by Morgan Decker and Haleigh Stocks singling in a couple of runs. Then with two outs and a runner at third a ball got under Taylors glove to plate the go a head run. The rams could not put anything together in the bottom of the 7th.

Koehler said, " I am proud of the way this team battled today. We talked about the fact that we were better today than yesterday. The girls did not like losing but took consolation knowing we played better today. We will try to build on this when we play North Penn on Thursday."
