Norristown softball won 8-5 today at home versus Cheltenham. Leading the offense for Norristown was Julia Santoro with 2 hits, and Stephanie "Sweat" DiNolfi, Gabbie Berry, Sammi Kidd, Sara Rosetti, Leah Rothwell, & Taylor Copestick with 1 hit apiece. DiNolfi, Kidd, & Rosetti flashed the leather on defense with multiple put outs. Rosetti got the win today pitching 4 innings of 7 hit ball striking out 6 and walking only 1. Gwyn Botley came in, in relief in the 5th and only faced the minimum 9 batters to finish the game. Norristown softball is back in action Wednesday 5/11 @ Abington at 4:00.
