Mike Daher's comments, "Felicia Connolly was outstanding in the circle today for North Penn. It seemed like every pitch that she threw hit her spot and she had excellent velocity on the ball throughout the entire game. We simply could not hit her today. We ended up with only one hit and that was Marley Swain's single to lead off the fifth inning. Prior to Marley's hit she retired the first fourteen hitters that came to the plate for us. She also struck out 16 batters. We simply did not have a good day at the plate today. Thankfully, Kendall Kornuszko threw pretty well today and for the most part kept us in the game until North Penn put together a five run fourth inning. Hopefully our bats get going in our next game and we can make a strong showing both at the plate and in the field. We have a lot of softball left to be played and a chance to pick up more wins this season.
