We had a disappointing double overtime loss to Wiss tonight. Their speed up top proved to be a challenge that we did not meet today. Our girls came out really lethargic and Wiss made us pay.

In spite of a really slow start, our girls finished really strong. Sophomore Emma Leibert had a hat trick that included a really well placed penalty kick and two goals near the end of the second half where she willed her way through several defenders before rifling both shots from nearly 20 yards. Additionally Freshman Evie O'Brien netted another goal of her own to keep us in the game.

I am proud of the girls for not quitting when we were down 2 goals late in the second half. It was a disappointing finish. We will get back to work tomorrow to continue working towards growth and improvement.
