Great game I felt where the better team in the 1st half and deserved the 1.0 lead. Very unfortunate to let an own goal in from a cross. It was one of those plays that the defender felt she had to go for it but with some communication could have been dealt with. It ended 278 minutes without losing a goal.
After that West Chester really went at us and they where the better team in the 2nd. But Defense stood firm and we never gave up. Bre Derinzi shock the goal frame with a powerful shot with just seconds left and Cara McCausland finshed a very difficult rebound. Her 7th goal of the season including the 3 preseason games.
