It was upper Moreland's first home game on their new turf. The Bears came out strong, and scored off of a great diagonal through ball that built out of the defensive third. Maddy Gerlach was able to find Kathryn Morrow on a diagonal run, who possessed the ball picked up the keeper and finished. In finishing the half the bears knew that they had to do a better job of possessing the ball and working it through their midfield. In the 48th minute Chloe Leiter won a fifty fifty ball in the defensive third. Sarah Veneziale won the second ball in the midfield and once again found Morrow cutting across the 18.

It was a great team win for the bears. Goalie Jen Storbrauck had 13 saves and recorded her third shutout. Strong play was seen through out Upper Moreland team. Chloe Leiter, Carly Wasson, Shannon Moore, Alexis lamb and Kathryn Morrow stood out today.

The bears next game is Tuesday vs Quakerton.
