Today's match was a clear improvement from yesterday. We came out more organized, with sharp communication from the start, and were able to connect passes through our system both offensively and defensively. Our rotations were smooth, allowing us to keep a consistent level of play throughout the game.

We continue to generate strong offensive opportunities, though finishing remains an area to improve. In the second half, Leah King capitalized by winning the ball off a goal kick and striking a beautiful shot to the far post upper 90. Shortly after, Brogan Neeley intercepted a pass in our defensive half, broke away from the defense, and under pressure from the keeper, calmly placed the ball in the back of the net. It was great to see Brogan get on the scoresheet, as she and Madeline Cox have been working tirelessly on the front line to spark our attack.

Special recognition goes to Aubrey Scarpitti and Kayla Scrum for their outstanding play today. With each game, we continue to learn more about ourselves, using that knowledge to grow and improve. Today was a solid all-around team win.
