The Indians started the match well, with both Hannah Alderfer and Katie Pazdziorko getting chances in on net after Souderton's high pressing resulted in a turn over. Pennridge had a few chances of their own in the first half. Souderton goalkeeper Morgan Molyneaux came up big with a save under pressure right on the goal line and defender Gianna Natale was forced into a goal line clearance with 20 minutes left in the half.
