Souderton fell to CB south in their home opener after falling behind 3-0 in the first half. The team is still working hard to quickly gain experience with only 4 returning varsity starters. In the first half, the Indians had moments where they controlled the ball and looked sharp, but after giving up the first goal of the match, the team wavered, and South capitalized on a lack of communication with two goals in quick succession.

At half time we made some tactical adjustments and came out in the second half with some more energy and stronger communication. Alexis Stefanowicz (junior) worked throughout the match to provide energy for the team in the middle of the field and helped the Indians regain their footing to keep the second half scoreless. Abby Kolb (junior) worked tirelessly at the outside back position, turning possession into chances early on in the match, and eventually putting in a consistent shift defensively.

The Indians will look to bounce back quickly for a Friday afternoon game against Archbishop John Carroll, as they continue to iron out some early-season challenges in search of their first win.
