Saves: WHS Goalkeeper HASTINGS - 7 saves. PW KEEPER - 7 saves.
WISSAHICKON 3, PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 1
WISS again out of the gate slow, allowing PW #10 on the board with only 3 minutes played. It took Elwell and her Trojans 5 minutes to answer with a thru ball inside the box to freshmen striker Carley Amato to knot the score at 1-1. The game was HOT HOT HOT and both teams looked as if they were moving in slow motion. Off the bench for WISS was Kelly Dickson and Victoria Selverian who both did an exceptional job to help WISS lift their energy level. The reward came late in the second half when WISS found the back of the net twice more. First at minute 78, Anna Wilde scored unassisted on her own corner, and less than two minutes later Jasmine Bishop found Rachel Coleman for a volleyed shot to bring the score up to 3-1.
