The game was extremely competitive. Both teams played aggressive and hard. The Bears were very slow to start allowing a quick first goal for PW. The Bears bounced back quickly. Building the ball from the defense through the midfield and then hitting Brianna Byard. Brianna turned on her defender and played a perfect ball to Sydney Bachmayer who beat Maria Robinson high.

The second half both teams had opportunities that they didn't finish. For the Bears goalie Kim Benge had 20 saves. She had a tremendous game in the net. The Bears were also able to pull the colonials off sides 12 times.
