All business from our group tonight. It's a big deal to earn a home playoff game and then win it but no one over-celebrated. We are on to the next.

Freshman JJ Lafferty set the tone with an early first time strike from 20 yards out and wide. Incredible goal in her playoff debut and her first high school goal.

13 minutes later, freshman Molly McEvoy plays freshman Lori Flannery through, Lori takes an early strike and puts it in for her 7th goal of the season and McEvoy's fifth assist.

Credit to all three freshman for shining in their playoff debuts.

With less than a minute left in the half, we clear the ball from our defensive third, Marleigh takes her first touch at the 50 yard line, beats a defender at the 35, and then sprinted 30 yards with the ball - outracing their defender and then a full speed finish. Incredible play that shows how much Marleigh has improved over the past four years. Marleigh has been a four-year starter but has worked to get better individually each and every year.

Senior Maddie McLaughlin iced the game 16 minutes into the second half with her first goal of the season, putting away a Lori Flannery cross. Maddie made a great run from deep to finish at the far post
