It was great to get the season underway. Pennridge got off to a slow start the first half and had a hard time breaking down a very organized Palisades side. Sierra Shaeffer, a natural field player who has put the team first the last two seasons by playing goalie, was able to get on the field for this game and was able to score a goal which was a real highlight for her and the team.
