The Bears outshot Truman in the first half 9-2, but couldn't find the back of the net. Madison Pisut for upper Moreland had a strong game in the midfield and marked and contained Trumans most dangerous player Amanda McElhara.
As a team the Bears moved the ball and found the open girl. They played simple and were able to maintain possession of the ball and control the tempo of the game.
In the second half the Bears controlled the ball setting up the attack. The forward line of Brianna Byard, Christina Kane and Sydney Bachmayer played tremendously. They had combinations throughout the offensive third and were able to connect and finish two opportunities. Kane's field vision and bachmayer's finishing was spot on today.
Kim Benge had two saves and records her third shutout for the season.
The Bears have improved to 4-4 overall and 3-3 in SOL play.
