Tough loss today. We were up at half 2-1 from two goals by Ceci Cappriotti. But started off the second half slow with minimal subs DC were able to get the first goal of the half which we responded to with another goal by Ceci Cappriotti making it her first hat trick of the season and we were back leading at 3-2. Then DC pulled away with a few great shots. DC were awarded a penalty which replacement goalie Becca Peterson saved! But we couldn’t hold on and DC were able to capitalize a few more times before the end of the game.
