We beat William Tennent 1-0 today.
This was our most complete game of the season and it was great to see our team come together from start to finish.
Sydney Holland scored in the first half off a pass from Lily Crocker and our momentum and energy never dropped.
Tennent had their chances and a few corners, but our defense held strong and Rohan McInneshin earned the shutout in goal.
I told our team after the game that we showed perseverance, grit and determination today.
Most importantly, our girls had fun and that usually means good outcomes on the field.

I’d also like to highlight the play of our defense today. Malena Vila, Kennedy Williams, Taden Versaw-Barnes, Lucy Trott and Tabitha Sterman played a solid game in the back. They communicated, were aggressive, and played smart soccer looking to do the little things, which led to some big stops.
