In spite of a really strong performance from Cheltenham’s goalie, we were able to earn a 3-0 win today.

Our attackers put lots of pressure on Cheltenham’s defense early on, which lead to three goals in the first 20 minutes of the game. The first came 9 minutes in when Junior Quinn Rozanski slid a ball to Junior Shannon Mahon who finished with a nice shot. Shannon scored her second goal 2 minutes later from a nice pass from Sophomore Emma Leibert. The third goal came 18 minutes in when Freshman wing back Ella Rossiter served Freshman attacker Ella Fey who finished our scoring with a nice goal of her own.

This was our first game in 11 days, and I think our girls did a good job at coming out and playing a really good brand of soccer in spite of the long break. I thought midfielders Quinn Rozanski Sammy Pennisi, Gabby Sellecchia, and Jordyn Fox did a really good job moving the ball and initiating our attack.
