Central Bucks East was able to hold onto a 2-0 lead that they grabbed in the first half, in a match that had relatively limited chances.

We were able to control possession in the first 15-20 minutes of the match. We had a lot of really positive possession throughout the field, but in the final third of the field we weren't able to create enough dangerous chances. About half way through the first half, we went down 1-0 after East scored on a well placed shot into the far corner. East won a throw deep in our half and they were able to make a quick turn to let loose a shot that was unsavable. Shortly after, from a similar position, East sent in a wild cross that was mishit and floated into the back of our net.

Right off the tap of the second half, we looked likely to bounce back, after the ball was worked well down the sideline between Katie Pazdziorko, Leah Mowery, and Avery Nogami. After winning a corner, Nogami was able to get on the end of the set piece and headed it toward goal. East's goalkeeper was able to collect and that was one of the few chances that Souderton had in the entire match.

Throughout the half we struggled to get back to the successful possession we had in the first half. The only other opportunity to crawl back into the game came as Pazdziorko made a run in behind and chipped the goalkeeper only to be denied by the crossbar. IN the end, we couldn't put together a significant response after giving up 2 goals in the first half.

Souderton hosts North Penn on Thursday for their senior night.
