Abby Kolb (junior) had a solid performance today despite the score line. She consistently put forth a strong effort shutting down players streaking down the wing on her side and turning in the balls that she won into quick possession.
Kait DiCandillo (senior captain) stepped up huge in the second half, after her team went down 4-0 in the first, she filled in at center back to help shore up our defense for a much stronger second half team performance.
The team is missing a few key players through injury but is working to keep a next man up mentality to work and improve each day. Souderton will look to get a result at home against North Penn on Friday night.

East was able to control the tempo and press the game early. Really strong performances from a number of girls going forward: Elise Duffy and Cam Williams continue to be a handful up top. Great service and combination play from Brooke Roomy, Elliot Forney, Issie Reid, and Morgan Kelly in the center of the park.
East was able to secure its second shutout of the year. Key performances from Skylar Gash, Kelly Keen, Grace Heenan, and Chantal Van Dongeren.
After a really tough game against Pennridge, it was good to get going early and see us finish some really high quality chances in the final third.
Nothing but respect for Ian and Souderton for making adjustments and putting us under some pressure in the second half. Avery was tough to deal with but I thought Meredith, Grace, Kelly, and Chantal did a great job of handling her side of the attack.
Focus is now on closing out the week against a solid CB South team.
