Abington took a 1-0 lead on a pass that Alexis Whaley slotted to Keira Clemson who took a distance shot over the Goalkeeper's head. Late in the second half Abington was awarded a free kick which Mia Sarro directed to the far post. Alexis Whaley got on the end of it to give the Ghosts a 2-0 advantage. Tennent struck back immediately and it was white knuckle time for the rest of the game as Nya Riggs and Emily Kaeser led the Abington girls defensively to secure the win.

Loved the way the girls came out tonight and fought hard throughout the game. We had great energy off the bench from sophmore Leah Guzman and freshman Ava Jakimoski. Leah scored our lone goal in the 78th minute. Junior Bailey Kasner took a shot that the keeper saved but left a rebound that Leah cleaned up. Great effort once again by our back line lead by Mia Rahn and Margot Vant Hoenderdaal who were kept busy all night. Sophmore keeper Megan Pacchioli made several good saves to keep us in the game. Another standout tonight was Junior Olivia Jakimoski.
