A hard fought win against a solid Abington team today. We were very happy to come away with the victory and a clean sheet.

We started well and I thought we had the better of the first half, we were able to score from a corner about 15 mins in when Isabella Lanza connected on a header. Soon after a cross from Isabel Diaz found Sarina Igval for a second goal. At half time we knew that Abington would make adjustments and come out stronger and they dominated large parts of the second half, but we weathered the storm and were able to add a 3rd goal when Audrey Rogan found Diaz with about 15 mins left.

Our overall play was good and we dealt with the conditions very well. We've been happy with the start to the season so far, we lost a lot of experience last year and watching players grow into their role and responsibilities on the field has been pleasing. Addison Martin, Cierra Frank and Sarina Igval have all impressed in this regard while our Senior class has done a really good job of creating the right environment across the group.
