“I’m really proud of our group today because even though we were nowhere near our best, they remained determined to find a way to win and did so.

Credit to Tennent who definitely caused us trouble and bounced back really well after we scored two goals early in the first half, but I’m just happy for our guys to get a positive result that they’ve probably deserved based on performances in the last few games.

While we played really well over the last week or two, we’d been struggling to break the last line to create real high quality chances. Today, we were much better in terms of chance creation and we were rewarded with our goals.

Getting Beck Walton on the scoresheet again is great for us, and Michael Rafalowski proved to be the difference for us today. He’s got so much energy and qualities that make him different from just about any other player we see, and for him to get his reward today was great to see and hopefully great for his confidence.

We played a lot of guys today as we’re at that point in the season where a lot of guys are struggling physically, and our players stepped up in a difficult moment.”
