Cheltenham Earns Hard-Fought 3-1 Win Over Pennsbury

Cheltenham secured a character-building 3-1 victory over Pennsbury on Friday in a match that highlighted the Panthers’ resilience and defensive organization.

The game opened evenly, with both sides probing for chances. Cheltenham struck first in the 20th minute when Billy Fishman linked up with Ahmed Toure, who calmly slotted home to put the Panthers ahead 1-0.

Pennsbury responded just five minutes later, breaking through midfield and firing a shot past keeper Wolf Brown into the bottom corner to level the match at 1-1 going into halftime.

The Falcons came out pressing after the break, but Cheltenham’s back line—anchored by central defenders Ean Justice and Emile Chanoine—held firm. Fullbacks Nate Leary and Alan Fazio shut down the flanks, while midfielders Aldin Sabljic and Jayden Sumitra fought hard to win key possessions and transition into attack.
