Lacrosse is about momentum. We had momentum leading into the end of the second quarter and had the lead 5-1 when a thunderstorm came and paused our game for over an hour. After that we never were able to get momentum back again again. Harriton was able to score 3 quick goals, making the momentum in their favor. We really struggled with winning the draws which was a big factor in the game. I am so proud of our seniors, they are off to do great things in the future. We wish Sophia Perrine, Ella Gould, Molly McCann, Maggie Brophy, Lily Dench, Aubrey Pomrink, Tierney Hogan, Mallory Serrano, and Sarah Hodum the absolute best. I couldn’t be more proud of this team, going into this season, we knew we graduated a lot, but they exceeded expectations and should be very proud of the season we had! Our defense played their hearts out, consisting of Keiley Hawk, Kendall Hurley, Madelyn Frantz, Bridget Hess, and Molly McCann. Our midfield played their hearts out at both ends, Leah King (led the team in forced turnovers), Madeline Cox, and Eva Gorrell (led the team in ground balls). Our attack was able to push the ball made up of Keira Hess, Sophia Perrine, Ella Gould, Maggie Brophy, and Kourtney Malone and work together with each possession. Overall they played a great game and things just didn’t fall our way in the second half.
