Delaney Smith scored 4 goals and played well on both ends of the field. Mel Wittick was dominant on defense with 4 forced turnovers and also grabbed 3 draw controls. Syd Bachmayer scored 2 goals and added 2 assists and Allison Felicetti scored 2 goals and had an assist. Jess Flanagan also had a goal. The two things that hurt us was CR North's speed, quick accurate passing on attack and draw controls. We usually do well with draw controls but they got most of them. UM got down early 7 - 1 , then recovered and played well on defense. The ball was down on defense too much, and we could not keep possession on attack. Emma Hood had 9 saves for her stint in goal.
