Comments: We had some draw control issues today but defense held them out and the attack capitalized, especially in the first half. They came back and we made some poor decisions when we should have been calm and collected. But West held on; we have not had a tight game in a while so it was nice to see them come out with the victory. Lauren Devlin had a great first half, saving 7 of 9 shots on cage. Rachel Shaw had a crucial caused turnover at the end and she had 4 ground balls coming out of the defensive end. Eva Altadonna also stepped up nicely for us today on defense. In general, our attack has recently looked very sharp most of the game and all 7 of them are contributing and moving the ball well.
