Tonight was a hard fought game. We struggled to win the draw and Rustin controlled the ball and had possession much more than we did. When you don’t have possession as much, every time down on the attacking end is critical. We didn’t capitalize as much as we should have- felt that we didn’t get the looks and opportunities that we wanted because we were behind in the game so we were trying to look for each other but inevitably forcing the ball.

Tonight’s game didn’t go our way. I’m so proud of the girls and their accomplishments this season. One game doesn’t define this team and, while it wasn’t the way we wanted to play and not the outcome we were hoping for, this team, this family, is something that the girls will never forget and that is something much bigger than wins and losses.
