Souderton started off with a quick goal at 24:17 by Sara Goodwin. NP then rallied with back to back goals about the 20 minute mark. It started off quick, but things started to settle down. We continued to exchange goals until about the 5th goal. NP eventually put in a couple unanswered goals to take the lead 7-5 at the half. We continued to take a lot of time off the clock in the second half, and made Souderton have to pressure us. Couple times Souderton capitalized on some simple mistakes we made in transition. But Bri O'Donnell finally hit her stride and put in 2 goals and assisted on another to put NP up 10-6 with only 4 minutes remaining. After being pressured, Kaitlyn Phifer put in the guarantee goal with 1:40 seconds left to us up 11-6. Souderton put in one final goal by Riley McGowan with only 25 seconds remaining.

Again - my team was hungry tonight! It's always a good rivalry game against Souderton. We were still pretty bitter about our loss last year against them, and wanted to turn the tables. We played a bit sloppy in the first half with overthrown passes, and some questionable decisions, but capitalized on some of Souderton's mistakes in the second half. We are also really starting to play better as a complete unit. Very proud of my team tonight! No time to rest or celebrate, bc we have another big game tomorrow night against PW for our Lax for Leukemia game.
