Coming off a season-opening loss to Upper Merion, North Penn jumped out to a 3-0 lead against the Ghosts and stood tall on the defensive end to preserve a 1-goal victory.

North Penn Coach Ken Rodoff: "Our attack and midfielders handled a tenacious Abington defense and found strong scoring opportunities. Kelly Woolaver's 8M conversion was a massive moment in the game for us as she took the 8M with incredible composure, speed, and shot placement. Credit to Maddie Gorman, Mila Rogozinski, Morgan Rodoff, and Brook Goewey for controlling the center circle and midfield. The highlight for us today though was our team defense and Caylynn Thompson's goaltending. Excellent communication and footwork by Erin Walsh, Emily Kralik, Alana Tomkowicz, and Taylor Krepps took away passing lanes while creating turnover opportunities.
