Comments: It was not perfect, some turnovers got the best of us and our defense did not adjust well to quick transition 1v1 goals, but they continued fighting. We have had a difficult time coming back when we have lost momentum, and that is what I am proud of tonight. We had another poor draw control showing and I think our teamwork was not great on both ends, but we pulled it out and we survive to see another day. Lauren Devlin really stepped on tonight with 10 saves and when we needed it, she got it. Casey Reichwein had a huge caused turnover charge call at the end of regulation and then she got a clutch groundball and foul call in overtime which gave her a free position where she sealed the deal and gave us a win. Casey has always impressed us because she does not play like a freshman. She is so composed and has had some big plays all season. She has one of the top shooting percentages for our team and I had complete faith in her when she stepped to that line. I also think Liv Fitzgerald and Chloe Miller-Russo stepped up nicely for us on attack tonight.
