Comments:
It was not our best day, but they showed grit and the entire defense should be proud especially of the last three minutes they played. Lauren Devlin came up with a huge save as well and made a lasting impression. Moreover, the defensive unit executed the plan in those last three minutes, albeit a little late, but certainly when we needed it. Offensively we looked nervous and that seemed to carry through the game. Our chemistry was off and the choices we made were not part of the plan. But given that we have not had many close games, I am proud that they never gave up despite the setbacks.
