The visiting Upper Merion Vikings improved their overall record to 4-1 in a
non-league contest beating Jenkintown 18-4. Leading the attack for the
Vikings was senior, Michelle Bowes with 5 goals. Kellie Manoppello and Mel
Ryan were also major contributors as they each scored 4 goals. Casey
Griffith and Julia Ehmer scored 2 goals apiece while Lindsey Ginsburg also
added a goal. The defensive unit was led by senior Marlena Ivey and junior
Tammy Slaughter, along with goalkeeper, Allison Frymoyer, who held the
Drakes of Jenkintown to only 4 goals. The Vikings next game is at
Springfield on Wednesday.
