Doylestown, PA: The Central Bucks South Titans boys lacrosse team defeated the visiting SOL Continental rival North Penn Knights 17-2 at frigid War Memorial Field on Tuesday night. The Titans enjoyed prolific scoring and outstanding defense throughout the contest. FOGO Ryan Jacobsen had an outstanding night at the X and was instrumental in getting the offense started, as the Titans raced out to a 9-0 lead before the Knights got on the board in the third quarter. The attack tandem of Brendan McGrath (6 goals/3 assists) and Chris Tanner (5 goals/, 2 assists), with strong offensive performances by Dillon Kelly and Evan Falkowski (2 goals each) proved to be a potent combination the Knights could not overcome. The defense was led by goalie Robbie Richick who recorded 14 saves, including several point-blank stops. Fleet-footed defenseman Kevin Witchey led the team in ground balls (5). Other standout performances from Matt LoStrocco and Jamie Renneisen capped the one-sided game. With the win, Central Bucks South improves to 2-0 (1-0 SOL Continental). The Titans take on Hatboro Horsham on Friday night at Hatters stadium.
