On a gorgeous late summer afternoon at Cedarbrook CC, Wissahickon scored a 210-236 non-conference victory over visiting Quakertown. Freshman Jalen Griffin hit only two greens in regulation, but still managed to post the day's low round of one-over-par 37 and was followed by teammates Jesse Hunsicker and Steve O'Donnell who shot 39 and 41, respectively. Quakertown's Carson Sinnott and Alex Coblentz shared team low honors coming in with a pair of 44s. But the true star of the day was Trojan sophomore Rishab Kumar who from the two seed shot 41, but then disqualified himself after the round for playing the wrong ball on the third hole and not correcting his error before teeing off on the fourth. When announced, his teammates applauded his actions.
