Abington defeated Wm Tennent 2-0 in national conference play. The visiting Ghosts used two first half goals to secure the win. Sophomore Grace Hopkins converted a pass from Brianna Jameson with 11 min remaining. Seven minutes later, Jameson crossed the ball again to teammate Kaila Brown for the insurance goal. Abington dominated play during the game earning 10 corners to Tennent's three penalty corners. Abington defenders Bridget Cichon, Evangeline Wang, Sarah Boches and Jackie Kizel did a solid job defending Tennent's big hit play from Panther senior Kalisi Taufalele by shutting down their forwards high offense opportunities. Ghosts' goalkeeper Alyssa Herman earns the shut out with five saves.
